SKIPPER : ROBERTO

 

Roberto  è il comandante di questa splendida barca a vela. Vivendo in un paese costiero è cresciuto a stretto contatto con il mare. Ha iniziato a navigare da ragazzo con windsurf, poi sulle derive, per poi passare alle imbarcazioni d'altura con le quali naviga e talvolta regata in Adriatico.
Sette anni fa conosce HYDRA V, se ne innamora, ne diventa il comandante/manutentore e con Lei naviga in lungo e in largo per il mediterraneo per oltre 25.000 miglia.
Naviga con HYDRA V in Croazia scoprendo ogni baia, in Grecia ionica, nell’Egeo visitando ogni scoglio, in Sicilia nelle sue eleganti isole.
Nei mesi invernali come tecnico si occupa di manutenzione imbarcazioni e matura esperienza regatando con imbarcazioni d’altura.
Sportivo da sempre ha conseguito il brevetto di Advance di immersioni, pratica l’apnea, istruttore di diverse discipline fitness, tra le quali il nuoto.
Appassionato di cucina del territorio si diletta volentieri ai fornelli.

Roberto  is the captain of this beautiful sail boat. Living in a coast town he gained long standing experience with the sea. Since he was a teenager he started sail with windsurf and centerboard and nowadays he sails on deep sea vessels with which sometimes participate in national Adriatic regattas.
Seven years ago he met HYDRA V and he fell in love with her. He became his captain/ maintenance technician and he immediately start to sail with her in the Mediterranean sea for more that25.000 miles.
Roberto sailed with HYDRA V discovering each bay in Croatia and Ionian Greece; he sailed across the Aegean see reef and in the wonderful islands of Sicily. During the winter season as technician he deals with the maintenance of boats and he participate in regattas to increase his already accrued experience.
He always been passionate about sport. He practices sea apnea and he is a fitness and swimming trainer. He obtained moreover the Advance diving license. He's a cooking passionate and he delights in the kitchen specially with local food.

                            HOSTESS : MANUELA

“L’unico modo di fare un ottimo lavoro, è amare quello che fai” e Manuela  dal momento in cui ha messo piede su una barca, non è riuscita più a farne a meno.
Ha percorso numerose miglia nei mari d’Europa ed in Atlantico e ha partecipato a regate regionali e nazionali sui Platu 25 nel ruolo di “prode prodiere!”
Per più di dodici anni ha praticato nuoto a livello agonistico e negli ultimi anni, desiderosa di trasferire la sua passione per la vela ai bambini, ha affiancato istruttori di vela.
Cresciuta in un casolare di campagna ha acquisito dalla nonna una profonda conoscenza delle materie prime e dei segreti della cucina italiana e abruzzese che ripropone ai suoi ospiti.
Il suo carattere solare ed accogliente ha fatto sì che lo scorso anno iniziasse in Croazia la sua carriera di hostess a bordo di HYDRA V con Roberto; la loro professionalità edallegria faranno vivere ad ogni ospite momenti unici,
miglia dopo miglia.

“The only way to do an excellent job is being passionate about what you do”.
Manuela  from the very moment she set sail on a sailboat couldn’t get enough of it. She sailed too much miles in the European and Atlantic seas and participated in both regional and national regattas on Platu 25 class as the “bold
Bowman!”.
For more than 12 years she practiced her swimming skills at professional level and recently, eager to get kids involved in sailing as much as she is, she worked together with sailing instructors.
Raised in a country house in central Italy, she picked up from her grandmother a deep knowledge of ingredients, mastering the Italian and Abruzzo cuisines, which she delights her guests with.
Her extroverted and welcoming personality allowed her tobegin a hostess career in Croatia last year aboard the HYDRA V with Roberto; their professionalism and
cheerfulness will have guests live unique experiences, mile after mile.
